The first awards of its kind in the region, the MEED Quality Awards for Projects, in association with Mashreq are designed to recognise and reward best practice and quality in construction projects throughout the GCC. These merit-based awards are judged by an esteemed panel of judges, all respected experts in the GCC projects industry. “The team’s passion, hard work and commitment to excellence has obviously paid off. We are delighted to have been given this recognition by MEED, the region’s most trusted business intelligence providers,” stated Muhammad al Salmy, managing partner of Hoehler + Partner.
“The national winners in the GCC are a testament to the high quality of work produced in the region’s projects market. The high quality standards they have achieved have raised the bar for other projects in the region, and the rest of the world,” said Edmund O’Sullivan, chairman of the judging panel of the MEED Quality Awards for Projects 2014, in association with Mashreq.
This award is in addition to numerous other lofty accolades that Hoehler + Partner has received throughout last year for implementing projects that adhere to the highest standards of quality and offer a distinctively unique brand of architecture. This marks the fourth award that the GUTech has won for Hoehler + Partner, playing testimony to the company’s monumental accomplishments notwithstanding its niche presence in the field.
The project is still winning awards years after it was successfully completed and handed over, for its revolutionary design execution and sublime architecture. In 2013, the project won the national title ‘Commercial Project of the year’ at the Construction Week Awards Oman, and again at the regional competition, Construction Week Awards Dubai. In addition, the company received recognition for the same project for the national title ‘Best Consultant for a Commercial Project’, at the Dossier Construction Awards 2013.
