Dr Busaidi said that the meeting aimed to follow-up the progress of work in the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in Al Wusta Governorate, review the difficulties and obstacles facing the implementation and development of work at the level of the governorate, as well as providing the needful support.
He praised the efforts of all workers, pointing out to the achievements made by DGHS during the health campaigns and climatic conditions witnessed by the governorate.
The meeting discussed the ninth Five-Year Operational Plan of the governorate, epidemiological preparedness plans, emergency cases and crisis management and reviewed the committee’s achievements during 2017 and 2018.
Yaqobi reviewed the performance indicators in terms of the distribution of the health services at the level of the governorate, the primary and secondary healthcare services in Haima Hospital along with the human resources working in the governorate.
