Oman crude rises 1.5% at DME

Oman crude price rose 71 cents or 1.48 per cent on Monday at the Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME).

According to an Oman News Agency report, Oman crude price (July delivery) reached to US$48.68 per barrel on Monday compared with US$47.97 on Friday.

The average price of Oman crude for May delivery has stabilised at US$51.71 per barrel, which is US$3.41 lower than April.

Brent crude for July settlement advanced 36 cents to $49.46 a barrel in London after climbing as much as 1.7 per cent earlier.
